It’s Chicklets first Halloween!!! ARGH!!! Again, I was in Los Angeles for a couple weeks and it was the same feeling… it didn’t really feel like Halloween because of the weather & I was too busy to really miss anything about Autumn.  We didn’t do much Halloweeny stuff since most of the good parties were going to happen after I left.  When I got back to Vancouver, there was the Vancouver Summit, a webmaster convention that was NOT put on my Sweet Entertainment Group for the first time.  The first convention I went to was last year, as a brand new webmaster & it freaking rocked big time.  This convention was just ok… unorganised for the most part, the parties were just ok, nothing phenominal and the attendance was definately lacking.  I got to meet a ton of great people though, some that I’ve made lasting friendships with til this day.  With all this stuff going on there wasn’t much time to do a lot of Halloweenie stuff.

On the big day, I’m sure I went over to Lougheed for food & to see what was going on there.  I got ready at my place & did my usual zombie makeup & went over to Audreys (who now lived literally in the next condo complex, so like a 3 minute walk).  Audrey, her daugther and newborn baby and a couple other friends piled into my Dodge Caravan (the name just exudes speed all the way… DODGE!!!) and drove about 10 minutes away to this part of burnaby that was supposed to be richer.  So we went trick or treating for as long as the kids could handle it.  I brought Chicklet of course!!  He was dressed up in his cute tiger outfit with a hood that had ears & eyes on the top of it…. he got sooooooo much attention it was INSANE.  People were giving extra treats to me just because he was too cute;  I had to wait while they called over their moms and grandmas to fawn over the little furry guy.  It was quite an experience for him to say the least.  After that, I went home, checked to see that the VCR was taping all my Halloween TV Specials and then Brad T. (who lived in my condo complex) & I went to this Woody’s Bar in Coquitlam where they were having a Halloween party night. Two of his co-worker friends from “the eye in the sky” in the casinos joined us.  Quite a lot of ppl were dressed up; I think I was the only asian girl in that place.  I got to dance & things were good.  Then we went to Roosters, some country bar & they were having their costume costest when we got there…. things dies down a bit and it was late so we were going to leave.  They left in their Firebird (I’m totally not surprised) and not even 10 minutes after they left, Brad & I get a phone call from them.  They were freaking out because they sideswiped a car (while driving drunk and fast) and caused the car to have an accident but they just kept on going!  Hahaha.  This was literally down the road from our houses;  so they were flipping out that they would call the cops or get their liceanse plate so we decided that going to Dennys up the road at like 3am while they were loud & really drunk would be the best plan!!  And it was… I was starving…

Since no one puked that night… it was an excellent halloween!
