Woot! We’ve passed the millenium so we’ve made it this far. I started working back in loss prevention, this time for The Bay Richmond and I was with Josh at the time. Somehow, i freaked out and decided to chop off all my hair not that long ago… and dye it BRIGHT red… I am I don’t know how I managed to stay undercover and look inconspicuous at work. Being in a city full of hongers with crazy fashion helped, hahaha. I recall having to sew all evening the night before All Hallow’s Eve because he decided he wanted to be a ninja last minute!!! Like I had to stay up real late slave because he wanted an AUTHENTIC ninja costume, with proper lace up gauntlets & everything. Yeah… I’m pretty kick ass, I know this.
Again… the day time was a complete blur… my lack of memory is starting to seriously worry me. I mean, Halloween, to me is NOT just about the one evening… it’s all the events, feelings and experiences leading up to it and if it’s all a blank to me… I’ll write more about it later; right now I need to just focus on remembering stuff.
That evening, I dressed as a zombie AGAIN… putting less and less effort and creativity into applying the make up. Now it’s more like “lets get the freaking latex in the tissue” time and all I can think about is the candy, lol. We went over to a friend of George’s and went trick or treating around the main & 25th area. We couldn’t go for too long of a trek since our friends kid was with us (he was about 5 or so). Afterwards we got hungry and then went to the closest Mc Donalds for some snacks and just hung out for a bit. Then Josh & I drove back & I changed into a sexy Red Riding Hood outfit and we went out with some of his friends to a Halloween night at that club… can’t remember name… off Hastings kinda beside the Harbour Center tower… it was kinda lame, as in not very packed at all. Everyone dressed up well of course, it was a goth crowd so it’s like when are they not dressed up… and that was another year gone! LOL
At this point in my life I was TOTALLY relaxed about Halloween & pretty much given up all my dreams of becoming this great haunted attractions consultant… I think I started relaxing at like 21 or so… I’m not dissapointed at all since I’ve realised it’s how I feel about what I do for the holidays. That made ZERO sense I bet; I’ll try and explain it later.
