Wow, less than 2 months to go and I’m so swamped with work, which is good…

Been really busy planning the big Boston/Salem/NYC Halloween Week extravaganza and all I’ve got is this ramdom list of fun stuff to do, big list of haunted houses and the map of the area burned into memory. Other than that, I’m sure I will be quite overwhelmed at the size of NYC and I have no clue what to expect in Boston. My only hope is that… I really don’t want that whole area being too commercialized for Halloween. You know, like super cheezy touristy “Witch Burning” attractions void of true Samhain history and spirit. I also forgot what 7 degrees celcius feels like since I spent the last two halloweens in warm places… I don’t know if wearing a sweatshirt or hoody is going to keep me warm enough, since I’m such a baby when it gets cold. I mean I get cold here at nights sometimes, LOL. Plus we only travel with carryon luggage only. SO I did a test pack ALREADY last night and I think I’m going to be ok. Basically I can only pack like 5 pants, 3 t-shirts, 3 long sleeves and a couple tank tops plus ONE other hoody/sweater & one pair of Vans. Now… the big question is should I take dressy shoes instead? Or will we even not make it to a fancy nightclub where I need dress shoes?

I know NYC & Boston are both walking type cities and I think Salem is as well… argh, what a dilemma. Plus which purses should I bring?? I know one wristlet for sure but should I bring one Vuitton backpack or the big ass Vuitton bucket bag (which would ensure that I can shop & bring back some stuff). Maybe I should do another “test pack”. Me & my test packs…. lol. I’m so used to travelling for summer which is easy since summer clothes are so tiny you can fit a crapload of stuff into one small thingy.

Things to do before going:
- make a list of books I want to get
- get a white nightgown for my “Ring” costume
- book the rental car
- book hotels for trip (can’t believe I haven’t done this yet!!!)
- buy tickets for Empire State building & Statue of Liberty
- think about shooting in NYC / Boston??

oooooh!! i am so brimming with pure excitement I can barely contain myself. Seriously. I’m ready to burst at the seams. I jsut decided after much thought what I should be for Halloween & I’m going with a costume that’s not super popular anymore but I think I can pull it off really well with what I’ve got: THE GIRL FROM THE RING!!

I’ve got the hair already, I’ll just do up my face, find an old nightgown to wreck… and it’s creepy as hell! Especially in a club or other dark enviroment ( I have NO idea how I’m going to see since I can barely see with my hair down now, let alone in front of my face… LOL. Anyways, it was between that, a witch or a zombie. No more cute or sexy costumes for me (this year at least) I’m going back to what I think Samhain should stand for!
